Is working with a personal trainer expensive?
This is a common (and good) question I often encounter. Despite being a “yes/no” question, I think it always depends on context and definitions.
Working 1-on-1 with a coach can cost anywhere from around 300-1200kr an hour depending on the coach and setting. Obviously, this is quite the gap, so to narrow it down, let’s say between 550-900kr (which is indeed what most coaches charge).
At first glance this seems like a lot of money.
However, the value that comes along with having a good physical practice, is pretty hard to put a price on.
How much would you pay, to get 10% healthier? To gain confidence in your own physical abilities?
Probably a lot, right?
So, it really comes down to how much you want to invest in your own wellbeing!
Now, don´t get me wrong, working with a coach won´t immediately translate into improved health, and the outcome is deeply individualized.
But! By working alongside a personal trainer, you are giving yourself the best possible odds in order to reach you desired goal. Whether it´s getting in better shape, grow stronger or simply learn to do a push up!
I hope this resonates with some off you, and please share any thoughts about this!
