Why is it so hard to start a physical practice?
I believe many can resonate with the following scenario:
You commit to starting working out twice a week, beginning every Monday!
(After all, we pretty much all agree that exercise is very good for overall health, and maybe losing a few pounds and getting a little stronger wouldn't hurt either.)
The first week goes great, and then… nothing! We stop going to the gym or running.
Despite that pursuing overall health appears to be a worthwhile pursuit, we rarely succeed in making changes that last.
I have personally been in this situation many times. I try to introduce a new habit, but I rarely get past the first few weeks. Even though I know it would do me well, I somehow don't find the time or don't have the motivation to continue.
This is precisely where having a personal trainer can prove invaluable! 💡
- When collaborating with a coach, you give yourself the best possible odds of introducing life-changing habits into your everyday.
From my own experience, I find that getting down to train on my own can be really tough, especially when the immediate consequence of not going is ZERO!
However, when I know that somebody is waiting for me, I get my ass down there!
